Community Guidelines

It’s official, we’re friends. Here’s what you should know about us.

We’re glad you stopped by to say hello. While you’re here, we’d love to share our story with you, and we encourage you to share as well! Join the conversation and hear what others have to say about their experience with transplantation. We’re excited to connect with you, and others like you, who share our passion for helping patients realize the full possibilities of life after transplant.

While you’re in our corner of the internet, here’s something to keep in mind: our industry is a highly regulated one. Because of this, we need to closely observe all the conversations that occur on our pages. Community Guidelines help us stay compliant with regulations designed to keep our activity here safe and above board. It may take us some time to respond to your posts, comments, and questions, but rest assured, we greatly appreciate your patience and participation.

Medical advice & personal information
Your privacy is important to us, and we want to keep your personal medical information secure. When it comes to sharing specific information about your personal health, questions regarding treatment methods, or medication, our social media is not the appropriate platform. Your healthcare provider should always be your first option for answers. We cannot offer medical advice on our social media pages. Any health and medical topics discussed on Veloxis’s social media pages should not be construed as medical advice.

Adverse events
Veloxis’s social media pages are not the place to report any medical adverse reactions or product complaints. To report suspected adverse reactions to Veloxis products, contact Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. at 1-844-VELOXIS (835-6947) or FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or visit www.fda.gov/medwatch. If you’re not from the United States, it is best to reach out to your healthcare provider or your local health authority.

We like to share!
Occasionally, we will share links to informative third-party sites you may find helpful. Our favoriting, retweeting, or sharing of this content does not necessarily mean we endorse or condone these accounts or the content they produce. It also does not mean we have any engagement in a business relationship with the authors who created that content. Veloxis is not responsible for and does not assume any liability for any such third-party content.

While you’re here, please only discuss topics related to Veloxis
We ask that while you’re interacting with our social pages you don’t discuss or use the brand names of any medications or refer to other pharmaceutical companies by name. Use of brand and company names is carefully regulated, and we want to ensure our online community is compliant with regulatory oversight. We will need to remove your posts or comments if you do. We promise that it is not personal.

Agreeing to terms
Please check back often for updates. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify these Community Guidelines at any time. Your interaction with our social media pages indicates your acceptance of any revisions to these terms. Although these rules cover most situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, Veloxis reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to take any actions we deem appropriate, including without limitation deleting any post, to ensure, among other reasons, that this site is not disrupted or abused in any way. If you post a question or seek assistance on our social media pages, someone from the Veloxis Support Team may direct message or otherwise contact you. If you feel we have acted unfairly by removing any content, please reach out and we will be happy to discuss it further.

Community moderation
Veloxis reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any content deemed inappropriate, misleading, or inaccurate or that violates our Community Guidelines in any way. Depending on the severity of the violation, Veloxis reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to issue a warning, revoke community privileges, or block accounts.
